Behavioral Consultant (BC)
IBHS Department – Full-time, Part-Time, Contract Position
Milestone Behavioral Health, located in Yardley, PA, is seeking candidates for the Behavioral Consultant (BC) role that exists within our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) community based behavioral health program. IBHS provides behavioral and emotional support to children and adolescents in their homes, schools, and other community settings throughout Bucks County. We offer sign-on bonuses and a LPC licensure supervision program.
Job Description
The BC is the lead clinician on the IBHS treatment team and is a consultant to all members involved in the child’s life, including parents, teachers, and coaches. As a BC, you will develop the treatment plan which works to meet the behavioral goals and support the needs of the child. The BC will monitor the interventions delivered by all treatment team members, as well as work with the parents to identify ongoing behavioral needs in the child.
The BC position is best for individuals that: are client-focused, team-oriented, good communicators, dependable, problem solvers, organized, and focused on performance quality.
Education/Experience Credentials:
- Masters-level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education or other behavioral health related field
- OR
- Licensed Behavior Specialist or BCBA
- Post-Masters experience providing mental health treatment to children is a plus.
- One year experience using behavior analysis/modification techniques is appreciated
- PA Licensed Behavior Specialist license preferred but we can also help you earn that
- Required Clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Criminal Check, FBI fingerprint, First Aid/CPR, Mandated Reporting certification, Liability Insurance
