TESTIMONIALS
Don’t just take it from us. Listen to what our clients have to say…
Our son Patrick made a great connection with Meredith. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and engaging. Pat always looked forward to sessions with Meredith. I cannot say enough good things about her diagnostic and treatment skills. The most important thing in therapy is the relationship between the therapist and child and Meredith was constantly working to build this bond with our son. Working with her is the BEST decision we have made in our son’s treatment.
Words cannot describe the positive impact that Leah has had in our family’s life. She has worked with our daughter Katie as her Mobile Therapist for over three years now and in collaboration with our Behavioral Specialist has developed strategies for the ever changing issues that coincide with a child’s need with ADHD and ASD. Her expertise and unbelievable patience shined through as she worked with Katie on building confidence, conquering her worries, providing tools on how to calm down in stressful situations, impulsivity issues, strategies for social interactions and much more. Compassion and understanding was evident as Leah worked tirelessly to help Katie succeed in a number of different settings. She never gave up and we always felt like we had a partner we could rely on when things got really tough. Leah always had a new idea or outlook on what to try next! We will never forget the impact she has had on our Katie’s life and are grateful for all that she has given us as parents to move forward and help Katie be the best she can be!
Meredith was the Behavioral Specialist for my twin boys for three years. She provided a calm and caring approach to handling behavior concerns. Her pleasant mannerism and creative goal setting helped our family achieve a more peaceful household.
For the past 5 plus years, Leah has been there for not just my son Kittim, but she has also been there for my husband and myself. Leah has been there every step of the way as a support during the worst of times when we suffered the loss of a child, and the best of times, when we welcomed another child and Kittim excelled in school social and academically! Leah never missed an IEP meeting and made sure she was involved in all aspects of Kittim’s life; outpatient therapies, developmental pediatrician visits, karate lessons, school, summer camp, babysitters in the home, etc. She is thorough ad reliable to have as a BSC. My son still asks for her even though, she is no longer his BSC. Her understanding and care for learning the differences amongst our cultures and upbringing was impeccable. Leah even allowed me to freely vent my frustrations as a parent to her on numerous occasions( which is much needed when you have a child with special needs). She never made judgment on our choices or decisions and she always made us feel like we were a priority to her. We as a family were ready to work, learn and grow for the overall success of my son and his quality of life and she in-turn worked equally as hard! It brings tears of joy to my eyes to think about all of the amazing things Leah’s work has brought to our family’s life.
